It sounds like what your cat has are impacted/infected anal glands, which are glands that they have at the side of their rectum. I've heard it compared to a skunk's glands. When these become sore, the cat will drag her bottom because they also itch. To compare it to a human, it's like an atomic case of the hemmorhoids and it's not painless. The only cure is to get her to the vet for an examination, expression of these glands and possible antibiotics in they're infected. You can try putting a warm, wet towel on the area, but I don't think she'll tolerate it. The soooner you can get her to the vet, the better! Hope she feels better fast!
