Does anyone know how much a kitten typically weighs at three months? Bailey now weighs 3.5 pounds. The vet says he may grow to be a large cat. I google searched typical weight and really can't find anything. Any references? Thanks

I don\'t know what typical kitten weight is, but Cosmo is almost 4 months and he weighs 5 lbs. Maybe he\'ll be big too!

The rule of thumb is about a pound a month until they are 4-5 months.

I just turned 4 months and I am almost 4-and-a-half pounds. I weighed the same as Bailey at 3 months. Strange enough though - my Doc said that I am going to be a small kitty. So it's a little bit confusing - huh! I guess paw size and jaw size can be indicators as to how big a kitten will be. We'll see!
