My Mama is searching for a different kind, a more nutricious kind of kitten food for me. Right now I'm eating Purina Kitten Chow and my vet doesn't want me eating that stuff. I eat it okay, but he says it's not too good. He says he'd like to see me on Iams, but the Iams sample in the purple bag kind of grossed me out and I didn't to eat it. So now, she's searching for a better food for me. She thinks one that might be good is one you can get from PetSmart or Petco and not at Wal-Mart or anywhere else. I think I heard something about the higher the quality the less times I need my litter box? Lil Crumb PS: Mama wants to change the dogs' food too... any ideas on that....? Buh-buh is a Pomeranian and Sissy is a Yorkshire Terrier.

Meows, Lil Crumb. Supermarket foods like Purina or Friskies are very poor quality, grain and by-product filled foods. The best foods are the ones that contain meats. Premium foods are best for us felines and will keep our fur healthy and are mosre easily digestible which means less poop. But premium foods are a bit expensive. You can try the lower priced premium foods like Eukanuba or ProPlan. For more info on what we felines need in our diets, see or There are suggestions on what brands to feed, like the super premium Innova EVO or Wellness or a RAW diet.
