Food Recall Question

Does anybody know of a safe cat food that can be purchased at my local grocer, department store, or even Petsmart? I live no less than 50 miles from the nearest carrier of Innova and other such safe products. I will be traveling this coming week to purchase Innova but until then what are the cheaper alternatives more readily available?

Fancy Feast has not been involved in the recall. Some people may "meow" down on it, but it sure tastes good.

I second Fancy Feast - some varieties are low carb with no wheat gluten - those that come to mind is the Turkey with the olive green label color, the beef with the brown label, and the grill feast. I mostly eat Wellness, but when mom can't make it to the good store, she feeds me FF.

What about Friskies and Whiskas? I have been to their websites and they both claim to not have been involved in the recall. Does anybody know about these two companies? I am feeding my kitties Friskies right now but as more and more companies are recalling I am getting worried... :(
