Dear Catster reader,

Almost two years ago, we invested numerous resources and rebuilt the Catster community. With new hardware, software and personnel, we did our best to satisfy the many users who shared their thoughts, pictures, questions, and love for and of their pets with us and friends. It was a thriving community with many users. We hoped, however, there would be more like you.

Times and habits have changed and we are sad to announce that the Catster community will be closing down on July 20, 2019.

Catster magazine, www.catster.com and the associated social media sites are NOT shutting down. We encourage you to continue reading the content found in the pages of the magazine and the web sites, commenting through the mechanisms provided and sharing your ideas and comments with us and your fellow readers.

Instructions for accessing pet profiles were shared with everyone in 2017. The instructions can be found elsewhere within the forum. AFTER JULY 20TH, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ACCESS THIS CONTENT. And, effective immediately, we are no longer able to answer questions about the community.

Thank you for your support and we look forward to serving you through our magazine and website.

Cheers,
Catster

Wanted to say hi and we\'re so happy to be here! We are Banana, Pistachio, Tapioca, and Jello! Our mommy likes themed names. Hopefully someone soon will adopt us because our Fostering Center is growing over crowded. We all have great personalities, but are different in our own ways! Check us out and add us if you want! -the Puddin\'s

It's Queenie. Welcome, you sure are cute! But I don't understand which one of you is Pistachio? None of you are green ... ;) You otherwise all sure look like delicious kinds of pudding. Purrs to you all and hope you find good homes.

Hahaha. Pistachio is one of the small kids. Sort of has a mind of his own. Only likes the cuddles if he thinks no one is looking. Now Tapioca, That's a winner!! Jello is partially blind from a herpes infection that they all suffer, so these are special needs kittens. right now we're also recovering from and URI. thank you for the compliments!

My mommy is obsessed with themed named. We're the Puddin's. There are also a whole set of Classic Rock musicians...Jimmy Hendrix, Roger Daughtry, Lenon, Janis Joplin... She used to have a Siamese Rescues that all had Egyptian names, but they were all adopted out and now have happy happy fur baby homes. The newest litter..she's going for greek mythology, so far we've only got Helen...of Troy that is. Any help? Thanks for the compliments! With these eye crusties we don't feel that cute, but mommy has us on antibiotics. -Puddin's

If you want to keep it Iliad themed, you could always go with Andromache, Hecuba, and Cassandra for girl kittens, and reserve the use Achilles, Hector, Paris, Aeneas, and (for a very mischievous kitten) Odysseus for the boys. (mom had to read and memorize passages from the Iliad in middle school)
