For William ...

William, I found that thread in Cat Health that you might want to take a look at. It\'s on Page 2 in that forum. The title of the thread is Help! Food Change for Health Reasons! and the original poster is Oliver. I think some of the information there would really help you.

Olivia, thank you so much! This is exactly the reason Oz and I wanted to be pals with you and Tanner. My mommy will go check out that thread right now. Also, maybe you might be interested to know that today marked the second day of my being on a more set schedule for feeding times (which I do not like at all after being free fed for so long) and for eating wet food. Mommy went today and bought us several cans of good quality wet food and tonight I had Blue Buffalo Wilderness Turkey. I can\'t wait to see what I\'ll have tomorrow, but Oz, on the other hand is still being difficult about it all. He actually put his mouth on a small scoop of wet food tonight though, and that is the closest he\'s come to even acknowledging the wet food is there. My mommy was so happy she could have danced! Thanks again Olivia for the info for my mommy, she appreciates it and so do I.

You're welcome, William! :) One of the posters in that thread mentioned crushing up some kibble into crumbs and sprinkling it over the canned food, so that the familiar smell and taste of the kibble will induce the cats to eat the canned food. It was the first time I'd heard of that technique, and quite honestly it made a lot of sense. Maybe it will work for Oz, too!
