Having issues at both ends of the spectrum with 2 of my babies. Trying to help Smitty lose some weight, and help Maizy gain a bit. She really caould use another pound or two. She is very picky with any wet food, but just wondered if anyone had ideas on "getting the fluffy" hmm, if only Smithwick could donate some of his, would solve 2 probs at once!

    Actually feeding the high protein wet food will help your kitty put on weight, and also help your overweight kitty loose weight. You just have to give the proper amount of calories. click here Oh and dont forget about exercise too. :)

    You have to look at the calorie count, on what your feeding, it should state on the bag or can. Your vet can help you determine, the proper weight of the cat, and help you figure out the calorie count, and determine, how much each kittiy, should be getting fed per day. Both kittens, brothers from the same litter, each get the exact same food. One gets twice as much as the other, as he needs that to maintain his proper weight, the other one gets less, to maintain his proper weight. Both are at their proper weight, and both were weighted by the vet, a couple of months ago. My vet determined their proper weight, determined from the can, the calorie count, and decided how much their should get fed per day, and its split into 2 feedings. She was right on the money. Only going to say it once, best of luck, whatever you decide to do. =;

    Canine Caviar's beaver canned food (good for both dogs and cats) is great for putting on weight (and making coats shiny).

    Yes -- I like to give them variety. :-)
