Cats canine tooth falling out

Hi, I just noticed that one canine tooth on my cat is falling out. She was laying with me on my bed and I noticed that it looked a little weird so I lifted her lip up and poked it. It's definitely going to be out within a few days. Very loose, part of it is hardly attached. She didnt seem to be in any pain and it didnt bother her when I touched it. Is this normal for a 12 year old cat? Will she still be alright eating dry cat food? She is not a big fan fan of wet. Thanks!

Not uncommon for a cat of that age to lose teeth, but a dental check up for tooth disease/cleaning is probably needed. Dry food is okay as long as she is not having a problem with it, we have several older cats that can still manage dry food even with a few teeth missing.
