It could be many things. Her tail, spine or leg may have been injured somehow, especially if she's an outdoor cat. She may have impacted anal glands which need to be emptied. She may have a tumor or leision on her tail. Please remember that on Catster, we are not veterinarians, "just" cat-lovers. We can't nor should we diagnose and/or recommend treatment for a kitty we cannot see and don't know the history of. If we gave you the wrong information and misled you, it could go very badly for your kitty. You need to call your vet and make an appointment. If you don't have a vet, many shelters/rescues can recommend one for you and those organizations are listed in your telephone book or on the 'net.
