Cat Marking & Peeing

I have two spayed male cats who have been living together for ca. 1 year. they've progressively been getting along worse with one of the cats bullying the other cat (e.g. biting, pushing him out of whichever place the other cat has chosen to rest in). he also has started spaying all over the house six months ago and even peed on the carpet, furniture, and our bed. we religiously clean up after him with enzymatic cleaners. we've taken him to the vet and ended up getting feliway, cat attract litter, urinary tract health cat food, and even anti-depressant drugs. the latter he refused and when we tried to trick him into eating it he wouldn't touch food for a good day in distrust. ironically we had to stop the other cat from eating the same meds. as you can see we're somewhat exasperated and are not sure what else we can do. we don't want to loose him, but also can't clean up cat pee every other day. help!

Is there something else going on in your household that your cats don't like? It is pretty strange for two neutered males who have been living together for a year to suddenly start peeing and spraying all over the house! Try providing each cat with his own litter box. Show them where the new one is and keep the litter boxes VERY CLEAN! Some cats will not do #1 and #2 in the same litter box. If you have to, try a third litter box. See what happens, but this certainly sounds like a behavior issue rather than a medical one. If the problem continues, take both cats to the vet and have blood work done on both. Best of luck.
