My cat has an urinary tract infection. The vet gave her: Baytril which didn't work and then Clavamox which makes the cat vomits every time. What do you recomend? When do you know to seek for second opinion? what other helpful hints for preventing urinary tract infection? thank you so much.

    did you try visiting another vet?... and if you do, make sure to tell them the outcome of the medicines that were already used. =^.^=

    Your best bet would be to go back to your vet. He/She may have another antibiotic to try. If not, then I would seek a 2nd opinion from another vet, or even a veterinary urinary specialist. I doubt you will get any answers from real veterinarians on here, and you really need to consult a vet on this problem. They know your cat and your cat's medical history.
