Is your cat locked up in a room or hiding under something like a bed? If you can try locking him in your bedroom and keep food, water and a litter box in it. Let him stay in the room for a couple of weeks until you see him getting comfortable then open the door and let him explore the rest of the house. Some cats take longer than others to get used to a new place. This is not uncommon. Cats can go longer than 24 hours without food or water. He will start eating soon. I would keep an eye on him and see what happens. Of course spend time with him and let him know you are still there and love him.

Bugsy is right. It is not unusual for cats to react this way when moved to a new environment. The advice of keeping her in the bedroom with food, water, and litter box is excellent advice. Go in her room and just sit there talking to her. Dont try grabbing her or anything like that, but talk to her. Let her know it is ok. Maybe bring a favorite toy in there too. Give her a little time, if she does not drink anything after today, take her to the vet as dehydration is very bad. You may try using some wet food to entice her to eat, that has moisture too so it will help with hydration.
