Any ideas for a gentle, effective, home remedy ear cleanser?

    I use baby oil. Put some on a q-tip or cotton ball and coat the inside of the cats ear--no further than you can see. NEVER shove anything down into your cat's ears! Gently wipe the oil out of the ear and repeat until all the funky gunkies are gone. I have to warn you though, unless your cat is a saint, he's not going to like it. Izzie hates having his ears messed with and Delilah--well, I'd have to have EMS standing by if I tried to clean HER ears! If your cat has ear gunkies issues, it might be a better idea to have his ears cleaned periodically by a vet or groomer.
