Sisterly Love?

Hello all! My beautiful tortie had her first litter today. 9 beautiful healthy babies. My question is this. Her sister will not stay out of the kitten box. She has been licking her sister and licks the kittens. Earlier I found one trying to nurse and she is fixed. My question is this. Will it hurt If I let her(sister) stay in there. Right at the moment everyone is happy and content. Thanks for your input. By the way this was a planned pregnancy:)

Meows sister, congratulations on having your new babies.I hear on the kitty kat purr line that their aunt is paying attention to them. My mama wants you to know that you don't need to worry, she just feels maternal to her nephews and nieces. She says that many kittens have been raised by aunts or grandma's. If it was a male kitty doing the same I would recommend keeping a close watch on the situation, as it stands watch out for any roughness and if the kittens seem stressed move them to where they can be protected. You just need to make sure they get enough at the milk bar :)9 Is a large litter and sometimes new moms need help feeding them and she should have all the food she wants for the next 8 weeks, lots of water in a shallow dish,is a must too. Purr's Asia.
