    There should be two boxes for three cats, regardless if spayed and/or neutered. You also NEED to scoop these two boxes once a day at the least to encourage him to go by having a clean sandbox. If I were him, I wouldn't want to share my restroom with a stranger either! You can also pacify him with some treats like Greenies SmartBites digestive care, which have coconut fiber in them to keep him 'regular'. Cheers ^_^
