Has anyone tried PROWL? Just curious to know what you thought of it.

We have not tried this food, the ingredients look really iffy to me. Hormone-free chicken, eggs, potatoes, yams, flaxseed, zucchini, spinach, honey, cranberries, rosemary, vitamins and minerals. Potatoes and Yams are third and fourth ingredient, not good as this raises a cat glycemic index, flaxseed is a common allergen, the vegies they just dont need, and cranberies can change the ph of the urine, and is a source of sugar aswell. I just cant see it being a stand alone diet. A more meat based diet would be far more species appropriate. Just my opinion anyhow.

Thanks Shadow! I am ALWAYS looking for your opinion. We do the Evo, Wellness & some Weruva all grain free canned, but TT does not like to have the same thing a lot- so I was looking for something else to rotate in. Tasha will eat everything TT does not, and she has a very small frame so she does not need the extra! :^:

If this is the Honest Kitchen Prowl - we like it a lot. We don't use it as a stand-alone, but we have it for breakfast maybe twice a week. It's a dehydrated raw product.

Yes Olivia, the Honest Kitchen Prowl. We were thinking of trying it just to give some variety to the rotation. Good to know you guys like it! :)
