Cats hind leg pops when she walks

I adopted a maine coon mix a year ago. For the last month or so every time she takes a step I here a pop from one of her hind legs. She is happy, eating and walking fine. She is still able to jump on the bed and such. Sometimes I think she is limping, but my husband disagrees. She is overweight. Anyone else experience this with their cat? Thanks for any input.

Sounds like hip dysplasia. Basically means the joint is not shaped correctly. Sometimes painful or requires a pin to keep the hip in place. It should show up on an xray...
