I\'m always hungry, or at least I act that way!

I know I get fed twice a day with wet food and it's exactly the right amount for my weight because I just went to the vet and she said Mom was doing exactly what was right. But I'm staying with my Grandma for two weeks and Mom is freaking out that Grandma is feeding me lots of food whenever I want because I'm acting hungry. Mom asked the vet if she should supplement with dry food throughout the day because I always act hungry, but the vet said no dice. Why do I always act hungry between meals when I know it's not time to be fed? PS: Mom and Grandma had a talk and I no longer get extra food between meals. Boo.

You're a growing kitten and while your body continues to grow, your caloric needs increase. You will continue to go in and out of these "growth spurts" for several months.

Well, I don't know about you, but I am always hungry! I LOVE food! Any kind is fine with me! But I'm not overweight or anything. Unfortunately, my mom won't let me have any human food.
