Pickles\' stone diagnosis and constipation

The vet just called and she's been diagnosed with calcium oxalate stones :(( Bummer. Looks like veterinary diet for sure. The vet said too, that had she been diagnosed with struvite, she was willing to work with me on feeding high protien, canned foods of my choice. But these stones don't dissolve, and can only be removed surgically. So there you have it. On another note, I am taking her in at 11:30 for the constipation. Wish us luck. She is not going to be impressed!
