We've all been experiencing wet stool on the Wellness, same with Evo, and Merrick even a month or more after eating it! We are on grain free Merrick dry too. Can anyone recommend a wet grain-free food (wet and dry) that doesn't cause the runs? One of us has a sensitive tummy, and has been vomiting food here and there, we want to know if there's a grain free brand that is more sensitive on the tummy? TIA! Tabitha and fammy

    It sounds like they might have a sensitivity to another ingredient besides grains. I've read that chicken is a common allergen for cats, as well as some thickeners and other additives. I would suggest comparing the labels of the foods that are giving them tummy troubles, and see if there is a common ingredient or ingredients. Then try other foods that do not contain the suspected ingredient and see if that will help you isolate the cause. Good luck!

    A temp. solution is probiotics, something like Eagle Pack Holistic Solution. They also make a transition one too. A good website for you is

    I'm new here but thought this may help. I had the same problem with Wellness and Mom change me over to Nature's Variety. It is grain fee and has chicken, lamb, venison, beef and rabbit flavors to chose from, so in case it may be a allergy to say chicken you could try another flavor. I've been doing great on it and my stools are back to normal now.

    I had bad poops on Wellness too!! Then Alex told me about Eagle Pack Holistic and it tastes sooo yummy! We still have it in the fridge actually. :)) I eat a whole variety of foods and my poops are fine. My absolute favorite is Natures Variety Lamb. I also eat (when mom will buy me another bag, hint hint) Orijen dry food. Its grain free. I love my kibble. I hope you feel better! Purrz & Licks, Hunter

    Slippery Elm powder is also good for soft stool, although it's not a probiotic like the Eagle Pack. It's a safe, natural additive you can put in their canned food that helps with tummy upset, diarrhea and constipation. You can get in a human health food store.

    We have been eating Wellness wet and it dont give us da poops - you can try Weruva, we eat that also.. it comes in small cans and packettes. The last food that gave me poopie problems was a dry food which was Before Grain chicken.. we loved it but it was not good to us.

    I mix Blue Wilderness Chicken and Orijen Cat and Kitten (1/8 cup each) and poops are firm and small and normal. ;c;

    Maybe it is too much all at once? I give my Toni girl half a cup of dry food in the morning and half a can of wet food at night. I would transition to all wet, but can't really afford to.
