There's a new test out called the IDEXX SDMA test that is supposed to detect kidney disease sooner in us furs. I took it a few days ago & mine came back normal. It cost my Mommy $157. They just take some blood to do it & send it off. I was given a link to a page that's supposed to make links active, but it does not work for me. Well anyway, here's the link: https://www.idexx.com/small-animal-health/solutions/articles/sdma-di agnose-kidney-disease.html
