My new kitten has runny eyes and a cough. Is it serious, or is she just getting used to her new hom

I think she might be sick, but I am wondering if this issue will just go away on its own.

It is more than likely an upper respiratory infection common in kittens. Vets usually run a course of amoxycillan and it clears right up. She needs to go to the vet for the prescription and to verify that is what it is..

Patches nailed (no pun intended) the answer. It sounds like a respitory infection. Please get your kitty to the vet because respitory infections in a kitten can be dangerous if left untreated.

I agree with both of the above answers. Off to the vet- probably an upper respiratory infection!
