    I don't think you're going to get very good advice on that without your advisor knowing more. Are they actually litter mates or do you call them siblings because they share your house? If they aren't litter mates, how long have they known each other prior to this behavior? How well have they gotten along before the switch? Did anything unusual happened between them? Has anything changed recently in the house or family (including the pets)? Is there a possibility one is pregnant? Could one, or both, be or have been recently in heat? Are there other cats in the mix?

    Are they spayed? If not, unspayed females are known for having spats. Please give us more information.
