    She may simply be grooming herself. If a cat has a dental issue, they usually won't eat because it hurts to chew. If you suspect a dental issue,you need to go to the vet's to make sure it's taken care of as dental problems can become so bad they can cause the death of the cat eventually. See if it helps her if you take a soft rag wet with warm water and wipe off her mouth after she eats. Some cats are enthusiastic eaters and get food in their whiskers. She may also be cleaning her whiskers to make sure they "operate" properly.
