I would ask friends and co-workers for vet recommendations in your area. Some questions you may want to ask a potential veterinary office are: What are your hours? Do you follow all the AAFP (American Association of Feline Practitioners) Guidelines? (good vet offices do) How are after hours emergencies handled? You can also also ask for a tour of the practice, but that is not always possible. You can also ask if they are certified by the American Animal Hospital Association. That is generally a sign of a good practice, but lots of good practices are not certified so don't make that be a critical factor.
