In many states it is illegal for people to be offering this that are not veterinarians. The problem with it is that they can hurt your cat very badly doing this. The instruments they use are sharp and what if they miss. The other thing is that you should not have anyone clean kitty's teethe until they have done xrays to see what is going on under the gumline. That is where the majority of the problems lie with cats. Also it is painfull and there is no way they can polish the teethe afterwards which must be done after the teethe are cleaned as cleaning them can leave tiny grooves in the teethe that will build up tarter at a much faster rate. But really the problem with cats teethe is usually under the gumline.
