    It looks like you have a lot of animals in your home, and you must know you need to take care of this promptly, or you'll have a real infestation of your home and all the other animals. I am not a vet and am not certain how to treat fleas on a mom who may be nursing and may pass the flea meds through her milk. And, I'm glad you understand that you don't put flea meds on a baby. If it were me, I would contact my vet and ask how to deal with this. They sell "flea bombs" and other solutions that you can use around your home, and will be able to advise you on how to control the fleas on the two newcomers w/o causing any harm or health issues to either one.
