Is there any link between roundworms in my cat and her getting poop stuck in her fur?

Yes, because a roundworm infestation can cause diarrhea or at least loose stools. If your cat hasn't been treated for these parasites, you need to get her to her vet to be professionally treated. OTC wormers are tricky and can actually be toxic. Be aware that roundworms can be spread to humans and other pets.
