    You should add a new litter box for each cat. Your previous cat does not want to share at the moment because he feels like he's being replaced. Give him extra attention and SmartBites treats, plus new toys and a doorknob scratcher. If it continues, then buy training litter and add it to your current litter. You also need to remove the pee with a urine-removal product, because cats and dogs will continue to soil previously marked areas if they can smell their own urine. Good luck! ^_^
