Can anyone pitch in and help? Desperate life/death situation Hello All: I'm sorry to have to play dirty but these are desperate times. For the past few weeks the animal shelter has had no choice but to put nursing moms and their kittens on the euthanasia list. That's right, whole litters of newborn kittens and their mothers are being euthanized, not because they're sick, not because they're vicious but because there is just no more space! How sad is that? But this terrible situation can be avoided but only with your help. All we need is a few weeks committment and a quiet space for Momma and her babies and you will save not one but multiple lives! How wonderful would that be?! You will be supplied with food and litter. All you have to do is feed Momma, she will take care of her babies. I know that many of you can't take in any more animals but I also know that some of you are afraid of becoming attached. I've been there, I know how you feel but please think about it. You will truly be saving lives. I will answer any questions you have and if you decide to do this I will help you the whole time. Please forward this letter to as many people as you know. We need all the help we can get. If you're interested in fostering please contact Ruth Allen at 718-272-6460 x229 as soon as possible. Thanks, AC&C Brooklyn Shelter Volunteer

We have a no kill shelter here that travels to get animals about to be killed-not sure if they would go as far as NY, but you can give them a call and try 4500 W. Wisconsin Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53208-3156 414-ANIMALS (414-264-6257) [email protected]
