My owner says when he\'s ready to put in hardwood he\'ll hire me to pull up the carpet. It\'s not just where I sleep, the whole carpet is interesting, it\'s neat to watch it come apart. I have a scratching post but that\'s not really interesting. Owner is mad!! What should I do instead?

What\'s soft paws? It sounds like it would hurt to get new paws.

I have never liked the carpeted scratching posts and i do like to scratch. Try one of the cardboard scratchers. They lay on the floor, so you could put in ontop of the area that is getting scratched. I use scrachy box, but there are others. http://www.fatcatinc.com/html_site/1_scratchy_box.shtml As for the soft paws, they are nail caps. They get glued on, over your nails and prevnet you from ruining things. Here's a link for them http://www.softpaws.com/
